CULTURAL INTEGRATIONWe have Packaged this Activity into two categories:1) Observation of Tea or coffee harvesting During the months: May, October, November and December, you will have an opportunity to learn how the coffee is harvested by observing or participating modestly every step of coffee or tea harvesting from picking on the shamba (farm) to the weighing in the factory for processing. This is a 1-3 hours experience whereby in the afternoon after eating lunch, descend to the river while marveling at the beautiful scenery and the waterfall, get the thrill of crossing the Mathioya river on a foot bridge and probably see some very rare and exotic birds e.g African fish eagle, hammer cop renowned for its architectural ingenuity: See its marvelous work and some other water birds. Walk along the river bank through the fishermen trails and probably get a glimpse of Fungi invested trees and some very exotic insects e.g dragon fly. Have picnic lunch at the river Mathioya waterfall. After lunch indulge in Fishing activities as an optional activity as you enjoy the beautiful landscape. Later, start walking back to the Weathered road where your tour van will be waiting. Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for your dinner at your hotel.
2) Experience first hand, by participating in the Coffee or tea harvesting Activity.
