GENDER CULTURAL AND SOCIAL SERVICES

We actively engage the local communities in supporting the government’s initiatives in promoting good cultural practices, promoting gender equality and actively engaging the society in constructive and harmonies social activities:

1.    Promotion of good and sound cultural behaviors.

2.    The promotion of societies shifts in attitude towards women in present day world. The centre together with other stake holders actively educate the local community on the importance of the promoting the education of women in the present day world. We also hold education workshops for women on the need to rising to the occasion and take lead to promoting their families, the government and the general society at large.

3.    The centre  also help to educate women to be on the forefront on the fight against HIV and AIDS. The initiators of this centre seriously believe that women if fully supported can play a leading role in the fight against the disease. This endeavor is achieved through educational workshop and inviting other stake holders who are actively involved against AIDS.

4.    A toilet today – through this centre we launched an initiative of Kenyans in Scandinavian countries who wants to construct decent toilets to poor rural families. The initiatives is done through the support of the donors like international organizations, local and foreign companies the government and other interested stake holders. Through this initiative the centre we hope construct more than 30 toilets every year in homes, schools and other social centre’s to promote good hygiene practices and help fighting diseases.
