Pick up from your hotel after breakfast at 0830hrs. Then through Muranga road then join Kiambu road and stop over at Paradise lost. Then join Thika road and a second stop over at Blue post resort at the bank of Chania River for a brief history of Chania river which is life giving water for Agikuyu community and politically renown for the saying of the first president that the presidency will never cross North of that river. Pass near Muranga town(previously known as Fort hall). Then head towards Kangema crossing river Mathioya to Gatunguru tea factory located at the foot of Aberdare Ranges while feasting your eyes on the beautiful Ambedares hills covered by the evergreen tea plantations. Finally we backtrack and join the 4km weathered road to Mt. Kenya Heritage center where you will be welcomed by traditional dances and songs. Take a tour of  the village while sampling African cuisine and then finally head back to Nairobi to rest.
